Joseph Scuorzo

Joseph Scuorzo, age 86, of Toms River died on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Complete Care at Green Acres, Toms River. Born in Newark, he lived in Hackensack for many years before moving to Toms River over 30 years ago. Mr. Scuorzo was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War. Prior to his retirement in 1998, he was a truck driver for his entire career. He is survived by his wife, Anna; his children, JoAnn Cooper and her husband Gary, Joseph Scuorzo Jr. and his wife Aileen, Mark Scuorzo and his wife Patricia, Kathy Carmichael and her husband Charles, Debra Rojas and her husband Carlos, Gary Scuorzo and his wife Maureen, and Anthony Scuorzo; 11 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. Interment with military honors will take place at 11am on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. [more]
