Dianna Eleanor Hurless

Dianna Hurless, age 75, of Ames passed away Monday, April 8, 2019 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. A gathering of friends and family will begin an hour before the service, with a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2019 at Grandon Funeral and Cremation Care, 414 Lincoln Way Ames, Iowa. Burial will take place at Ames Municipal Cemetery. Dianna was born January 10, 1944 in Ames, Iowa to James and Edna (Petersen) Speck. She graduated from Ames High School in 1962. She and Terry Hurless were married March 28, 1964 at the Little Chapel of the West in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dianna and Terry enjoyed over 50 years together. Some of their favorite adventures were boating on Lake Mead, traveling to Hawaii,Denmark, China and home to see family in Iowa where she has resided the last few years. Dianna is survived by her son Erik Hurless, brother, Mark (Linda) Speck, nephew, Josh (Julie) Speck, James, Claira and niece, Alyssa (Charlie) Evertz, Matias, Gracielle, Tomas.
