th are her parents, and three brothers, Louis Dye, Gary Dye and Grover "Buck" Dye. Barb graduated in 1973 from Spoon River College as an LPN. During her 46 years of nursing she worked at various hospitals and nursing homes. "Bo" as her coworkers affectionately called her worked the past 33 years at Sunset Manor in Canton. "Bo" loved her Sunset Manor family, she even worked months up until her passing. She enjoyed tending to her gardens, taking her kids to dirt bike races and playing scrabble. She was an Avid Chicago Cubs fan, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Barb was many things to many people, but above all she was herself and that's why so many people loved her. In lieu of fresh flowers, if flowers are to be given the family requests perennials, so the family can plant them in her garden where they will bloom for many years to come to signify the life that she lived. Memorial donation can be made to the American Cancer Society. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Goose Pit in Banner.
