James "Jim" Koger

James "Jim" W. Koger, 58, of Cedar Falls, died at UnityPoint Health - Allen Hospital on Sunday, April 28, 2019. He was born March 25, 1961 in Waterloo, IA, son of Howard W. and Barbara A. Otterman Koger. Jim graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1979. He married Cindy Lee on April 8, 2002 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was an over-the-road truck driver for Hite Trucking until December 2018. Jim loved being a truck driver and seeing the states. He enjoyed fishing especially in Minnesota along with his friend, Dave. Survived by: his wife, Cindy, California; mother, Barbara Koger, Waterloo; sister, Teresa (John) Lundak‚ Waterloo; 2 brothers, Steven‚ Waterloo and Cory‚ Cedar Falls; 3 special nieces: Dawn (Joshua) Gramlich‚ Waterloo, Nicole (John) Widen‚ Gowrie and Uyoon Hee‚ California; and several great-nieces and -nephews.
