service he served as an Honor Guard for General Douglas MacArthur. Earning the Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon, two Overseas Bars, Army of Occupation Medal of Japan and Honor Guard Award. After being honorably discharged he returned to the Shenandoah area where he farmed with his family until retirement. He had been living most recently at Windsor Manor until his accident then was at Elm Heights until his death. His wife Lois of 66 years passed away in 2010. Charles was preceded in death by his wife Lois, parents, brother Jack (Wanda) Pease and brother-in-law John Hagedorn. Those left to cherish his memory include his sons Charles Dean Pease and wife Marilee and Curtis Pease and wife Karen both of Shenandoah, grandchildren Darin Pease and wife Jackie and their daughter Victoria, Jason Pease and wife Mindy and their children Tanner, Taylor and Tucker, Molly Nelson and husband Eric and their son Ruger, Brandon Pease and wife Brandy and their children Knox and Kynlee, sisters Clotile Pease and friend Kathy Bergman, and Marilyn Hagedorn, sister-in-law Elizabeth Martin and numerous nieces and nephews.
