Aart DeHeer

Mr. Aart DeHeer, age 91, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2019. He was born in Grand Haven, MI on December 7, 1927 to John & Anna (VerDuin) DeHeer and married the former MaryAnn McCarthy on November 22, 1947. Mr. DeHeer had been employed as a laborer for various places until retiring. Aart was a member of the Grand Haven Eagles and enjoyed woodworking, building dog houses, gardening and hunting in the U.P.

SURVIVORS

Son, Donald (Patti) DeHeer of Spring Lake; daughter, Linda King; son-in-law, Dave (Roxanne) Krohn; 13 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; special daughter, Sandy Collins of FL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann in 2006 and daughter, Gail Krohn in 2010.
