re he instilled life lessons that transcended far beyond athletics. Robert's natural talent for leadership and concern for others was evident. Robert's influence was witnessed by generations and his profound impact on those he worked with manifested in their families and communities where he provided guidance and respect to those he encountered. That guidance was was used to shape many lives, and he is still standing on all our sidelines guiding us on to do and be the best we can. After a brief bout with cancer, Robert passed away the way he lived, peacefully and surrounded by his family.
