Patrick Bernard Fischler, CMSGT On Sunday, November 21, Patrick B. Fischler, our beloved husband, father andgrandfather, died at his home in Granger surrounded by his family. Pat was born November 4, 1930, in Philadelphia, PA, to Harry J. and Ellen E.Fischler. He is preceded in death by his parents; his four brothers,Charles, Billy, Jimmy and Joseph; and grandson, Dustin. He is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Roselle Jeanette. Alsosurviving him are his seven children: Patti Marx, her husband, Stanley, andchildren, Desmond, his wife, Laura, Danielle and Cayce; Jerry Fischler, hiswife, Destiny, and daughters Jill, Brittany and Ashley; Vincent Fischler andhis daughter, Marilon; Jean Beeman, her boyfriend, Ken Bohuslav, and herdaughter, Linsei; Scott Fischler, his wife Kathleen, and children, Radleyand Wyatt; Connie Fischler, and her sons, Shane and Garrett; and ChrisFischler, his wife, Letty, and children, Ryan, Allie and Rileigh. Also leftto cherish his memory are his great grandchildren: Michael, Anthony,Brendan, Tyler, Kara Rose, Mary Emma, and Jimmy. Harry Fischler ofCherryhill, NJ, is his lone surviving brother. re he receivednumerous commendations. After his military retirement in 1974 at the rankof Chief Master Sergeant, he attended St. Edwards University, and worked forthe City of Austin. Rose and he then managed Burnet Road Storage for yearsuntil they both retired to Granger in 1995. Pat enjoyed his family, leisurely days in Granger raising cattle and tendingthe yard, balancing an in-family Texas vs. Texas A rivalry, and any timespent with the love of his life, Roselle. He will be dearly missed by all. Visitation begins at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 26, at Harrell FuneralHome, 4435 Frontier Trail, with services at 11 a.m. presided over by FatherJames Fischler, Pat's nephew. A full military graveside service will followat Cook Walden Memorial Hill in Pflugerville.
