Ada Pearson

Ada Pearson born January 1, 1918 in Fredericksburg, Texas, daughter of Hans Boecking and Carrie Dunheim of Johnson City, Texas, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2010. Ada married Wesley Hollis Pearson on July 19, 1939 who was a civic leader and business owner in Austin, Texas. She worked for the State of Texas legislature for 20 years and the State Judicial Qualifications Commission for 20 years for a total of 40 years with the State of Texas. The Pearson family has donated land on Lake Travis for the Dink Pearson County Park. Ada's most enjoyed hobby was oil painting. Ada was the most wonderful Mom in the world. She loved all people and will be missed by everyone.Ada is survived by her children, Wesley Pearson Jr. of Montgomery, Texas and Jerry Pearson of Sewickley, Pa; grandchildren, Mark Pearson (Houston), Dean Pearson (Houston), Amanda Miller (Pittsburgh) and Nicole Koseski (Pittsburgh).The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Harrell Funeral Home, Austin, TX.
