William Ronald Mangrum

William Ronald 'Ronnie' Mangrum, 68, of the Buda/Kyle area passed away peacefully on Jan. 31, 2010. Ronnie was born five days after the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 12, 1941 in McKinney, TX to the late William Rex and Billie Frances McCandles Mangrum. Ronnie moved to Austin as a young child and remained in the area until 1999 when he and his wife retired, purchased a motor home and began traveling the U.S. Ronnie is survived by his wife, Patricia; sons William Ronald Mangrum, Jr. and wife Claudia and 2 children, and Charles Ray Mangrum and his wife Sandy and 3 children; daughters, Kandis Ann Mangrum - Bonnett and 1 child, Kelly Dee Yates and her husband, Daryl, and step-daughter, Brandie Paige Lewis and husband David and 3 children; and brother, Steven Jeffery Mangrum. Ronnie is preceded in death by his son William Jeffery 'Jeff' Mangrum. Jeff has 2 children. A memorial service will be held at Harrell Funeral Home in Kyle, TX on Saturday, February 6 at 2:00 p.m. Ronnie will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
