Martin Charles Ramm

Martin Charles Ramm passed from this life peacefully on Sept. 18, 2009, surrounded by family.He was born in Trinidad CO, to William and Anna Marie Schoenerstedt., the 4th of 5 children. After the loss of both his parents at age three, Martin was raised by Rudolph and Freda Ramm near Stamford Tx. He served honorably in the US Army during WW 11 and returned home from the Pacific to attend and graduate form the University of Texas. He then moved to St. Louis where he met and married his wife of 54 years, Patrica Ann Truchon. He brought his new bride home to Texas where they settled in Dallas. They eventually returned to Austin where they resided for 19 years before retiring to Dripping Springs.Martin began a career in the Insurance Business from which he retired after 30 years. He and Patricia enjoyed the pleasures of a warm and loving home life centered around grandchildren,, woodworking, gardening and travel.Martin is preceded in death by wife Patrica, parents, brothers Fred and Paul.
