Willie Franklin Wawak

Frank Wawak, age 71, of Austin passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2009. Frank belonged to the Ben Hur Shrine, Transporter's Club and was an endowed member of several Masonic lodges as well as active in many community organizations. He was a certified pilot with an instrument twin rating. His true hobby was spending time with his family and helping kids.He was preceded in death by his son Keith Wawak and his parents.Survivors are his wife, Beth Wawak; sons Bobby Wawak and Gary Wawak; daughter, Karen Wawak; grandchildren, Robert Wawak, Keith Wawak-Smith; Janael Copeland and Brandon Wawak; great grandchild, Kaitlyn Wawak, all of Austin; brother, Danny Wawak and wife Jan of Poplar Bluff, Mo and numerous nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 6:00 till 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at Harrell Funeral Home, Austin. Funeral services will be on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home with burial at Masonic Cemetery.
