Kasey Shriver, 26, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2019. Celebration of Life will be 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at the Loess Hills Funeral Home in Carson with Revered Michael Slininger officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 24, 2019 at the Loess Hills Funeral Home in Carson. Burial will be in the Carson Cemetery. Memorials: In lieu of flowers memorials can be directed to the family Kasey Kay Shriver, 26 of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away on June 20, 2019. Kasey was born on September 29, 1992 in Council Bluffs, the daughter of Brenda Lee Stephens and Terry Lee Shriver. She grew up in Carson, Iowa, graduating from Riverside High School in Oakland, Iowa with the class of 2011. Kasey attended University of Kansas in Lawrence where she received her bachelor's degree in exercise science. She continued her education at Nebraska Methodist College in Omaha and received her BA in nursing in the accelerated program. She worked as a registered nurse in the emergency department at Methodist Hospital in Omaha. Kasey was all about helping and giving to others. he was a wonderful daughter, sister, and a great friend to all who knew and loved her. Kasey was very much loved and will be truly missed. Kasey was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents. Kasey is survived by her mother, Brenda Stephens of Council Bluffs; father Terry Shriver (Sara) and her children, Matti and Meg Haines, all of Carson, IA; fiancé Jordan Roth of Omaha; brother Brandon (Krystal) Cleaveland of Bettendorf, IA and their children, Braxton and Kensington; her beloved dog "Mako"; extended relatives; and many special and close friends.
