Garhardt Oeth (Gary) died unexpectedly in Des Moines, Iowa on July 5th, 2019 at the age of 67. He is survived by his wife Patti of Des Moines; siblings Tess Young of Polk City; Steven (Karla) Oeth of West Des Moines, IA; David (Gwen) Oeth of Rochester MN; Kristen Oeth (Jay Brown) of Pataskala, OH. Nieces and nephews Angela Chapman of Clive, IA; Emily Linn of Des Moines, IA; Jessica (Andy) Schuttler of Shawnee, KS; Jacob Oeth of West Des Moines; Ben (Krystal) Oeth of St. Louis Park, MN; Jackie (Brian) Hunke of Hopkins, MN; James Oeth of Portland, Or; Abigale Brown of Albany, NY; and Aaron Brown (senior) of Purdue University; eight great nieces and nephews and his former wife Suzanne Oeth. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Rosemary Oeth and grandparents John and Mary Oeth and Herman and Matilda Lolwing. A funeral is scheduled for July 19th at 11am at the Iles Grandview Park Funeral Home, 3211 Hubbell Ave. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Gary's life.
