looking for an opportunity to help others, Sam had a desire to offer a hand up for those who needed a second chance. He was a lover of people; never judging and made friends with everyone. He had a great sense of humor and loved making others squirm when he had the chance. Being a dad was Sam's greatest accomplishments. He was incredibly proud of his children, Richard and Diana. He would often say, "I don't know how I got so lucky to be a part of something so great!" From childhood magic shows to long trips up the Talimena Drive, Sam's children have wonderful memories they will forever cherish. Technology is something Sam was passionate about. He was very creative and could bring possibilities to life. Sam was always taking pictures and producing videos in his green screen room, mostly of his family. Sam married Debbie Satterberg in October of 1993. Debbie was working for a clock company and Sam was a customer who frequently called to order parts. The two enjoyed chatting via the phone and eventually decided to meet. They hit it off and their connection only grew stronger. Ultimately, Debbie moved from Wisconsin and she and Sam made their home in Broken Arrow. Together, they enjoyed gardening, and taking care of their pets: Bella, Hannah and Kitty Perry. Mostly, they looked forward to their nightly game of Farkle. Sam passed away July 21, 2019. This husband, father and friend will be greatly missed. Those he leaves to cherish his memory are: wife, Debbie Reece; and children, Richard Reece and Diana Reece. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister. His love for people continues with the gift of organ donations. Services to honor and celebrate the life of Sam Reece will be 11:00 am Friday, July 26, 2019 at RiverCrest Chapel. The family will greet friends from 6-8:00 pm on Thursday, also at RiverCrest.
