Janet E. Graham, 79, of Fort Dodge passed away Friday, August 2, 2019 at Trinity Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home and then a Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church with Msgr. Kevin McCoy officiating. A visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with a CDA Rosary at 4:00 p.m. and a Vigil at 7:00 p.m. Jan is survived by her husband, Roger; daughters, Dawn (Kevin) Dencklau of Fort Dodge; Stephanie (Brian) Thompson of Renwick; Katie (Brandon) Tews of Ogden; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Pam (Paul) DeVoe of Fort Collins, CO; Karen Miller of Elgin, IL; and brothers, Michael Meyer Weatherford, TX and Pat Meyer of Norwalk. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Florence (Hood) Meyer; and infant daughter, Amy Graham. Janet Elizabeth Meyer was born September 23, 1939. me in Fort Dodge. Jan worked in the medical field for 44 years. She worked as a Histotechnician for Dr. H.T. Larson, Mercy Hospital and Trinity Regional Hospital, where she worked in the Histology department until her retirement in 2001. Jan was a member of Holy Trinity Parish and Catholic Daughters of America. She enjoyed playing cards but above all loved her family. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
