Sylvia Louise Logue passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2019. A Celebration of her Life will be held at Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes on Friday, August 23, 2019 at 3:00 pm. Sylvia was born on May 8, 1935 to George and Daisy Dillinger. She was the first of two children, having a younger sister Eileen. She would do her schooling in Port Arthur, graduating from Port Neches-Groves High School. She would attend TCU and Lamar Universities before getting her nursing degree from Galveston. She would meet Tapley (Tap) Logue on a blind date. They would marry and celebrate 60+ years of marriage. They would have four children; sons Terry and Tim and daughters Tina and Toni. Sylvia would alternate between staying at home raising her children and using her nursing talents in hospitals and nursing homes. Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents Daisy and George Dillinger and sister Eileen. Those left to cherish her memory and continue her legacy are her husband of more than 60 years, Tap Logue, sons; Terry and Tim, daughters; Tina and Toni, grandchildren; Lucas, Christopher, Zackary, Lindsey, and Tatum and great granddaughter, Ella Grace.
