Richard Allen Morris, 66, of Manchester, Iowa, died on Saturday, April 9, 2011, at St. Lukes Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A Natural Journey Farewell with Cremation has taken place. The Carson & Son Funeral And Cremation Services in Maquoketa is in charge of the arrangements. Richard Allen Morris was born on May 29, 1944 in Muscatine, Iowa, to Eugene and Margaret Morris. He was a high school graduate and during his growing up years had lived in Muscatine, Oxford Junction and Lost Nation. He married Patricia Ann Miller and they later divorced. He then married Maridel Galanius. They later divorced. Richard had been a foundry worker for several years prior to becoming disabled. Richard loved painting and working with his hands. He also enjoyed walking. Richard is survived by a daughter, Robyn Nesbitt of Maquoketa, IA; a grandson, Robert Keller III; 4 brothers and 2 step-brothers.
