Donna Marie Zimmerman

Donna Marie Zimmerman, 66 years of age, died Tuesday, May 3, 2011 in her home after a courageous battle with cancer. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 6, 2011 from 4 - 7 pm at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton. Memorial funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 10:30 am at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton. A private family burial will follow at a later date. A memorial fund has been established in her memory. Donna was born on November 22, 1944 in St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Donna attended Stanwood School and was united in marriage to Roland Eugene Zimmerman on August 23, 1964 in Clarence, Iowa. Donna worked for Tidewater Publishing for 20 years and then worked for the Tipton Aquatic Center and the St. Luke's Clinic. Donna's Christian faith was important to her.
