Richard Rowley

RICHARD W. ROWLEY Mr. Rich Rowley, of Prairie Run in Grafton, passed away Friday evening, July 20th, 2007, at Froedtert Lutheran Memorial Hospital in Wauwatosa following a stroke earlier in the week. Rich was born in Hammond, IN on August 31, 1954, son of Elbert and Lyda Forman Rowley. He served in the US. Navy as a Machinists Mate on the USS Newport News and the USS Vulcan AR-S. He was united in marriage with Sherry Kultgen (nee Shepherd) on April 10, 1982 at the Grand Ave. United Methodist Church in Port Washington. The couple raised their three sons in Grafton. Rich worked as a die caster and lead-man at EST Company in Grafton for 25 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping earlier in his life and most recently liked to spend time gardening, playing with his grandchildren and spending time with his family and his dogs Angel and Buddy. He was a man known for his good sense of humor. He is also survived by one sister and two brothers: Rebecca Rowley of Saukville, Thomas (Jamie) Rowley of Munster, IN and Kenneth Rowley of Manitowoc, mother-in-law Ellie Roos of Cedar Grove, brother-in-law Rick (Tammy) Shepherd of Port Washington, sisters-in-law Maple (Wes) Decker of Port Washington and Peggy (Dan) Rick of Cedar Grove. He is further survived by his special god-daughters Amanda Shepherd and Crystal Pfannerstill, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Speedy Ray Shepherd. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 24th at 7PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave. (Hwy 33 & LL) in Port Washington. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5-7PM.
