Obituary: Joe Edward Parker passed away Sunday August 25, 2019 at Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth at the age of 68 years six months and 20 days. He was born February 5, 1951 in Lindale TX to Delores Brown Parker and Johnnie Parker. He resided in Glen Rose for 44 years. He was married to the love of his life, Allene Kaluzniak April 9, 1971. Joe leaves behind his loving wife, Allene, two sons John J. Parker of Midland TX and Jared W. Parker, wife Sara Pendleton Parker and three beautiful granddaughters Nicole, Evelyn and Scarlet of Burleson TX. They shall miss their PopPop tremendously. He also leaves behind two sisters. Sue Barrett and husband Thomas of Glen Rose, and Nancy Sanders and husband Bill of Tolar TX. Two brothers Clay Parker and wife Brenda of Scurry TX, and Ben Parker and spouse Debbie of Glen Rose. He shall also be missed by his Uncle David Brown of Glen Rose and Aunt Odessa Christian of Louisiana, sisters in laws Patricia Cundiff and husband Jerry of Durant OK, Agnes Robinson and Josephine Johnson as well as brother in law Stanley Kaluzniak and spouse Cindy. He was an active member of his church First Assembly of God at Glen Rose. Joe was a retired sheet metal mechanic. His memorial service will held Saturday September 7, 2019 at First Assembly of God Glen Rose. His cremation will be performed by Alpine Funeral Home at Fort Worth TX.
