William L. Hayton, 92, of Clinton passed away Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Eagle Point Health Care Center - Clinton.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Thursday, September 26, 2019 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Nate Fee, Darrien Tillman, Max Covell, Bill Hullinger, Tristan Hullinger and Cody Carter. Honorary pallbearers are Sam White, Shawn Hullinger and Kalob Hullinger. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the service hour at the funeral home.
William Lyle Hayton was born September 4, 1927 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Albert and Mable (Burrows) Hayton. He married Mary Parmer on February 15, 1948 in Clinton; she passed away on November 16, 2002.
Bill was an avid St. Louis Cardinals Fan. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching old western movies especially John Wayne. Mostly Bill was a family man and loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren.
