Gladys Marie Morlock Born December 2, 1928 Returned to God September 30, 2019 She is preceded by the passing of her parents, Louis Wieland and Cora Begner Wieland, her sister, Evelyn Wieland Paul, her brother, Norman Wieland. She is survived in life by her sister Wilma Wieland Baughman, her brother-in-law, Don Paul, her sister-in-law, Evie Wieland. Gladys was married to John Gordon Morlock and had four children: Two of her children have gone to be with the Lord: Linda Morlock and Mark Morlock. Her surviving children are Debra Morlock and Greg Morlock. She was blessed with 3 grandsons: Ryan Pheiffer, Aaron Woods, and Jon Woods, and 4 great-grandchildren: Ashley Woods, Cayla Woods, Brayden Pheiffer and Brynlee Pheiffer. Gladys served her community as Heart Fund Chairman for 2 years, United Fund Chairman for 2 years, PTA President of Dunlap High School, Den-mother to Boy Scouts in Dunlap, Illinois. She was involved in the American Women Business Association, participating as Vice-President and Secretary and Chairman of Women's Boss night. went on to sing at a well-known ballroom called the HUB. She sang with the Del Courtney Orchestra during the Big Band era. She was a member of the Arcadia Presbyterian Church in Peoria, Illinois. After moving to Hollywood, Florida, she attended Victory Christian Church and became part of their family. Her careers included the Peoria County Health Department, Rueben Donnelly Corporation, Quantico Bank, C.R. Cook Furs. Her final and most loved employment was to work with Dr. Andrew Katz as office manager until the age of 84. Her final days were spent in her daughter's home surrounded by the love of family and friends, and the support of Seasons Hospice. Donations in her memory may be made to Victory Christian Center, 5118 S St Rd 7, Davie, FL 33314 to honor her life. Her Service will be held on October 5, 2019 Visitation: 11:00 am Service 12:00 noon Conclusion at Grave Site 1:30 pm (across from Fred Hunter's, Taft Street, Hollywood Florida.
