Dorothy P. Jacobs

Dorothy Jacobs, age 87 year of the Town of Fredonia, passed away at her residence in the evening hours of Tuesday, August 26, 2008 surrounded by her loving family.  Dorothy was born in Milwaukee on July 29, 1921, daughter of Joseph and Paulina Berent Skorcz.  On June 14, 1941 she married Eugene Jacobs in Milwaukee.  He preceded her in death in 1994.  Mrs. Jacobs was a member of Holy Rosary Parish, and was active with the Christian Women and Prayer Circle.  She was also a very accomplished seamstress, a tremendous baker, and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Dorothy is survived by her children Sandra (Charles) Conant of Fredonia, Randolph (Edie) Jacobs of Sheboygan, Jeffrey (Cheryl) Jacobs of Hubertus and Timothy (Mary) Jacobs of Fredonia.  She is further survived by 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 1 brother Edward Skorcz of San Diego, CA, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sisters, 2 brothers and a daughter-in-law.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 30th at 10 AM at Holy Rosary Parish, St. Ma...[more]

Chapel in Little Kohler with Father Dick Fleishmann officiating.  She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the parish cemetery.  Visitation will be at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave., Port Washington on Friday, August 29th from 5-8 PM, and again on Saturday at the Church from 9-10AM.
