Louis M. Weber

Louis “Louie” Weber, age 91 years of the Town of Scott, passed away in the early morning hours of Saturday, April 18, 2009 at his residence.  Louie was born in Adell, on June 1, 1917, son of Peter Weber and Mary Hammes Weber.  Mr. Weber proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII.  Louie worked for Krier Preserving in both Random Lake and Belgium for many years, and also worked at the Random Lake Co-op.  He was a member of Hamm-Miller American Legion Post in Random Lake.  He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.  Mr. Weber is survived by stepson Glenn (Marjorie) Zimmerman of Random Lake, 15 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.  He is further survived by one sister Esther Turluck of Sheboygan Falls, 3 brothers: Fritz Weber of Prescott, AZ, Elmer Weber of Plymouth and Peter Weber of Waldo, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.  He was preceded in death by his partner of 46 years LaVerne Zimmerman, his parents, 2 stepsons Roy and David Zimmerman, 1 stepdaughter Nancy Watry and 4 brothers George, Herbert, Joseph and Nick.  Memorial services will be held on Wednesday...[more]

pril 22nd at 7 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 171 N. Royal Ave. Belgium, with Father Jim Ernster officiating. He will be laid to rest next to LaVerne at St. Paul’s Cemetery in Silver Creek.  Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday the 22nd from 4-7 PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to Our Lady of the Lakes School or New Horizon United Church of Christ.   Online condolences may be left at www.eernissefuneralhome.com
