Robert L. Carmody Mr. Robert Carmody, of Wildflower Circle in Port Washington, passed away early Monday morning, November 30, 2009 at Columbia- St. Mary’s Ozaukee Campus in Mequon. He was 78 years old. Bob was born October 25, 1931 in Sevastopol, WI, the son of Joseph and Ida Moeller Carmody.  During the mid 1950’s, he served his country in the National Guard. He was united in marriage with Agnes “Aggie” Lehner on June 27, 1953 at Holy Name Church in Racine.  Bob worked as a machinist for Continental Can Company for over 40 years, retiring in 1992. Mr. Carmody was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish in Saukville, as well as the Saukville Moose Lodge and the Saukville Rifle and Pistol Club. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and was the first hunter’s safety instructor in Ozaukee County.  Bob was an avid Packer fan who enjoyed all sports, and previously coached youth basketball and softball teams in Saukville. He is further survived by 14 grandchildren: Brian, Jason and Melissa Carmody, James (Christine), Schaun and Amanda Lambright, Michael and Tyler Asen, Amy(Chris) Zirbes, Nicole, Jake and Josh Wisniewski and Mattie Marie and Mackenzie Carmody, 1 great-grandchild Aiden Zirbes, 1 sister Mary (Frank) Mosgaller of Sturgeon Bay, 3 brothers-in-law: Lawrence (Marilyn) Lehner of Franksville, Raymond (Patricia) Lehner of Racine and John (Charlene) Lehner of Lake Geneva, 3 sisters-in-law: Francis (Hillard) Litton of Racine, Catherine (Donald) Price of Lebanon, TN and Helen (Duane) Kienast of Burnett, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Ida, 1 brother Walter (the late Rita) Carmody, 1 sister LaVerne (the late Charles) Raschig , and sister-in-law Cynthia (the late Joe) Chernouski. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 5, leaving from Eernisse Funeral Home at 1PM going to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 145 West Church St. in Saukville for Mass at 1:30PM.  Father Karl Acker and Father Pat Wendt will concelebrate. He will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saukville. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, December 5th  from 11AM-1PM 5 at Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave. in Port Washington.  Memorials are appreciated to the National Parkinson’s Foundation or Immaculate Conception Parish.
