Helen S. Hansen
Mrs. Helen Hansen, formerly of Milwaukee, passed away Tuesday morning, May 4, 2010 at Harbor Campus where she had resided the last 8 years. She was 91 years old. Helen was born December 22, 1918 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Louis and Frances Stopka Kowalewski. After graduating from Riverside High in Milwaukee, she was employed as a bookkeeper at James Callan Real Estate in Milwaukee. On December 27, 1958, she was united in marriage with Raymond D. Hansen in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death in 1966. Mrs. Hansen enjoyed dancing in her younger years, and loved to travel and go to dinner theaters in large cities. Helen is survived by her nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and other friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Raymond, 4 brothers and 1 sister. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 1PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave in Port Washington. She will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Port Washington.
