Funeral Services for Mr. Terry Ray Franklin, age 73, of Monroe will be conducted 2 p.m., Sunday, November 24, 2019 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Rev. David Beaty will officiate. Burial to follow in the Green Hill Cemetery, with Military Honors provided by the Overton County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will welcome friends on Saturday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at Speck Funeral Home. Terry Ray Franklin passed from this life on Thursday evening, November 21, 2019 from the Overton County Health & Rehab Center. He was born June 12, 1946, in Putnam County, Tennessee to the late William Ray & Jewell Odel Garrett Franklin. Terry Ray was a 1964 Graduate of Livingston Academy. He proudly served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Alpine Presbyterian Church. Terry Ray enjoyed watching westerns, sports, enjoyed great food and watching the traffic pass by his house.
