Funeral services for Mr. Edward Roy Fleming, Jr., age 87 of Hilham, will be conducted 1 PM Tuesday, December 3, 2019, from the Holly Springs Church of Christ. Bro. Bruce Mullinix and Bro. Bobby Gore will officiate. Burial to follow in the Holly Springs Cemetery. Military honors will be provided at graveside by the Overton County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will welcome friends on Monday evening from 5 until 9 PM at Holly Springs Church of Christ. Mr. Fleming passed from this life on Friday night, November 29, 2019, from the comfort of his home. He was born in Overton County on April 20, 1932, to the late Eula Fleming. He loved going to church and singing and spending time with people. Edward never met a stranger. He loved farming and tending to his cattle, being around his family, and working for the County Highway Department. Mr. Edward Roy Fleming, Jr. leaves behind his loving wife Wiletta Fleming of Hilham, his caregiving niece Mandy Ford and husband Glen, and a host of other nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.
