Peter Brian Shevlin

Peter Brian Shevlin, age 42, of Forked River, passed away at home on Friday, April 13, 2018. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he lived in New York most of his life before he moved to Forked River. He worked as a truck driver for many years. Peter was a talented guitar player and songwriter, who loved to share his music with friends and family. He enjoyed being outdoors, traveling in his RV, and was an avid environmentalist and vegetarian. Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Peter was touched by his kind, gentle manner and his caring heart. He will be forever missed. He is survived by his father, Pete; mother, Eileen; sister, Bridget and brother-in-law Danny; his uncle Tommy and aunt Theresa; his cousins, Tommy and Christopher; and his uncle Ed and Auntie Marilyn. A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 2:00pm until 5:00pm at Lacey Memorial Home 1022 Lacey Road Forked River.
