Marion A. Johnson-Braswell

Marion Johnson-Braswell suddenly left her family to unite with her ancestors on November 27, 2019 in Brick New Jersey. Marion was born on June 29th, 1960 in Newark, New Jersey to Melvin Johnson and Estelle Beswick. Marion was born & raised in Newark, New Jersey and attended the Newark Public school system. After finishing high school, she attended Rutgers night school where she obtained a bachelor's degree in biology. With a long career as a teacher for the East Orange school system, her love to become a lifelong learner directed her into obtaining a master's degree in special education. As a special education teacher, she welcomed the challenges with her dedication and commitment in making sure her students were successful. Marion was a devoted mother to her family. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family. She was a spiritual woman and involved in church activities which included greeter; usher, and supporting students at the church. She will be deeply missed by family and friends.
