David Sar Moore

David Sar Moore, 76, of Waterloo, formerly of La Porte City, died Monday, December 9, 2019 at his home.  He was born May 19, 1943 in Essex the son of Ivan and Anna "Margaret" Sar Moore.  He graduated from Essex Public Schools. David married Barbara Ann Barrett on September 17, 1960 in Clarinda. David was a manager for People's Natural Gas in La Porte City for many years. He worked as a service technician for Steamfitters Local 464 in Omaha, Nebraska for sixteen years, retiring August 1, 2012. He had been an active member of Living Faith Church of the Nazarene in Ralston, Nebraska, Lions Club and Kiwanis Club.  David enjoyed spending time with family, camping, fishing, playing cards and games.
