Elizabeth "Betty" Deater

Mrs. Elizabeth A. "Betty" Deater, age 89, passed away Friday, January 3, 2020. She was born on July 20, 1930 in Casnovia, MI to Daniel and Elizabeth (Moreland) Lynch, and resided in the area her entire life. Betty worked as a private in home nurse until her retirement in 2000. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday School, and was involved in the Boy and Girl Scouts. Betty enjoyed yoga and her step classes at The Omni, sewing, walking her dog, photography, traveling and most of all, her family. On March 26, 1954 she married Gerald L. Deater, and he preceded her in death on April 25, 2014.
