Dryer, Linda MADISON - Linda Dryer, age 61, passed away at her home on Tuesday, May 31, 2011. She was born on February 1, 1950 in Oshkosh, WI to Edward Orville Brooks and Mildred Clara (Bobb) Brooks. She grew up in Omro, WI. She graduated from school with a degree in nursing and throughout her life; she focused in careers that cared for others. She is mother to Jeffrey and Deborah, and devoted her life to being a good mother and grandmother not only to her immediate family, but also to those she loved. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with friends, being outdoors, reading, decorating, sewing and cooking. She created a sense of community wherever she lived, and had a knack for bringing people together. She lived in Madison for 26 years and in that time developed many close friendships. Linda is survived by her sister, Mary Fraser; brother, Charles Brooks; daughter, Deb Dryer; son, Jeff (Christine) Dryer; granddaughter, Alexandra Dryer; and numerous friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her father Edward Brooks and her mother Mildred (Bobb) Brooks.
