Robert A. Retherford "Dr. Bob", age 77, October 27, 2018 of Grosse Pointe Woods. Loving husband of Linda. Dear father of Susan K. Retherford and Micheal Robert (Jennifer) Retherford. Beloved uncle of Sarah J. Heaton and Christopher R. Heaton. Brother of William Retherford. He was predeceased by his sister, Donna K. Woodward and his brother, Kelvin Retherford. Bob worked for the Macomb Intermediate School District for 25 years. After his retirement he started his own private practice. He enjoyed being a Christian Counselor. Gathering Friday from 4:30-8:00 PM at Chas. Verheyden, Inc., 16300 Mack, Grosse Pointe Park, MI with a scripture service at 7:00 PM. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at St. Philomena Catholic Church, 4281 Marseilles St., Detroit. In lieu of flowers, donations appreciated to Great Lakes Hospice.[more]
