Bonnie Grimmett

Bonnie Jean Grimmett, a long-time resident of the Glendale, AZ peacefully passed away Sunday the 10th of April, 2016 in the comfort of her own home. Born to Mary and Andy Cummings in 1934 on a small farm in Klondike, TX, Bonnie ran several successful businesses and raised 2 children. She was a wife of a proud Navy veteran, and then later re-married an Air Force veteran. She moved out to AZ in 1960 where she spent the rest of her life giving back and making sure everyone who she came in contact with received her generosity. Bonnie loved watching her Cowboys every Sunday and loved watching the Food Network Channel, she was a self-taught chef, and to this day we still keep her family recipes a secret. She had a wonderful smile that could light up a room, and even had a special hotline for her grandchildren - she would say, call "1-800-grandma." She is survived by her daughter Donna and son Gene; her brother Glendale; four grandchildren Lauren, Nicholas, Tyson, and Joshua and two great-grandchildren Hallie and Miles.[more]
