s survived by two children, Gail Blocker and her husband Joseph of Hartford, SD, and Kevin Thompson and his wife Diana of Fort Dodge; a daughter-in-law, Ginger Thompson of Forest City; six granddaughters, Jennifer Blackmore (Shannon) of Holstein, Amanda Nobles (Matthew) of Holstein, Kara Ruge (Nathan) of Mason City, Holly McMahon (Cody) of Hartford, SD, Kathleen Thompson of Madison, WI, Krista Thompson (Sam Renschen) of Honolulu, HI, two step-granddaughters Kelsae Schossow (David) of Forest City, IA and Jessie Sage of Iowa Falls; 10 great grandchildren, Tyler Wingert, Hanna, Beau, and Sydney Blackmore, Aubrey and Dane Nobles, Mila and Lanie Ruge, and Abigail and Nolan McMahon; and two step-greatgrandchildren, Zackary Jutting and Damon Sage. She is also survived by a brother, Merle (Joni) Skogen of Albert Lea, MN; two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Skogen of Rake and Virjean Skogen of Thompson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Howard; a son, David Thompson on April 20, 2018; three brothers, Don Skogen, Norman Skogen, and Derald Skogen in infancy; and an infant sister, Madele Skogen.
