CYNTHIA MARIE SQUIRES

Cynthia Marie Squires, 45, of Gwinn, died Saturday morning as a result of a motor vehicle accident. She was born August 2, 1969, in Marquette, a daughter of Jerald Squires and Lynda Fagerberg and was raised in Gwinn. Cindy was employed as a waitress and bartender at various restaurants and bars in the area. She also operated her own business, Yooper Candle Co. Cindy enjoyed crafting and collecting fairies. She will be remembered by her family and friends as a good hearted and generous person, their "Sparkling Angel". She is survived by her children, Jessica (Bryan Silagi) Squires of Cedar Rapids, IA, Joshua Squires of Gwinn and Justin Batcheller of Cedar Rapids, IA; mother, Lynda Holm of Marquette; grandchild, Colton Silagi; sisters, Debra (Gregory) Westhart of Valdosta, GA and Vicky (Todd Revord) Sicotte of Gwinn; nieces & nephews, Donald, Edward and Brianna Westhart, Jacquelyn (Eric) Mott, John Michael & Jason Sicotte, Joel and Jonas Revord; great-niece & nephew, Adriana Revord and Traeson Mott, both of Gwinn; and several aunts, uncles & cousins.
