ry picking with her family. She also love to spend time gardening both flowers and vegetables. She canned her bounty and you could always count on something fresh from the garden to be served when visiting. Laura was an avid Northern Michigan University hockey fan, she held season tickets for the length of her career there. Laura attended all the games with either her sister or a grandchild by her side until her declining health prohibited her to attend, however, she would watch them on TV when they were televised. Laura was very passionate about her grandchildren and great grandchildren and none of them were without a hand knit sweater which was one of her hobbies along with sewing, crocheting and shopping. She is survived by her daughters, Patti (Tom) Baker of Skandia and Julie Campbell of Cody, WY; her brother Lawrence Steven (Deanna) Corp of Hemet, CA, seven grandchildren, Stephanie DePetro, Sara Campbell, Jennifer (Tommy) Daugherty, Jessica Campbell, Kristopher Langlois, Shawna Campbell, Kevin Stauffer, and Trina Orham; her lifelong partner and friend Robert H. Campbell of Zeba, MI and 12 great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews. Laura was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Sue Stauffer, and her sisters, Virginia Anzalone and Elvira DeGrande both of Escanaba, MI. Private funeral services for Laura were held at the Canale-Tonella Funeral Home. A special thank you to the staff at Norlite Nursing home for the loving care Laura received during her time there. Also, thank you to the staff of Lake Superior Hospice for attending to her needs during the end of her illness. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 S.
