Private Graveside Services for Mrs. Rebecca Faye Seber, age 52, of Cookeville was held over the weekend. Bro. John Keith officiated. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Rebecca Seber passed from this life on Tuesday morning, March 31, 2020 from the Bethesda Health Care Center in Cookeville. She was born in Overton County, Tennessee to the late Ausby & Mary Thomas Seber. Rebecca was a 1985 graduate of Livingston Academy and a member of the Allons Baptist Church. She loved her family and getting together with them. Rebecca also enjoyed going to the shooting range and working as a cake decorator. Rebecca leaves behind her son, Benson McCormick of Cookeville, TN; brothers, Roy Lee Seber & wife Debbie of Allons, TN, Kenneth Edward Seber of Orlando, TN, Steven Wayne Seber & wife Alvadean of Allons, TN, Richard Allen Seber of Lafayette, TN, and Adam Dwight Seber & wife Angie of Temple, TX; sisters, Kathy Leigh Barnwell of Ashville, NC, and Sharon Gail Redmon of Nashville, TN; several nieces and nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents, Rebecca was preceded in death by the father of her son, Hampton McCormick; and sister, Lisa Stinson.[more]
