Jim Tevis Rest in Peace (Requiescat in Pace) January 20, 1958 - March 15, 2020 Jim Tevis, born James Starley Tevis on January 20, 1958 in Houston, Texas, passed away at his home in Dripping Springs, Texas on Sunday March 15, 2020. Jim grew up in West University Place and graduated from Lamar High School in 1976. He attended A&M University in College Station and was a member of the Corps of Cadets from 1976-1981 He received a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1981 from A&M University and a Masters of Business Administration in Management in 1988 from Golden Gate University in San Francisco CA. Jim married the love of his life Stephanie Gatti on June 8, 2002 in Les Baux, France. They have lived in various places throughout their 18 years of marriage: Birmingham Alabama -8 years, Madrid, Spain-5 years, Maussane-les-Alpilles, France-3 years and Dripping Springs -3 years. Jim was an accomplished Aviation Officer after serving 28 years in the US Air Force. Recently he and Stephanie worked as realtors in the Austin area and had many close friends in their Dripping Springs community. Grace Tevis (age 15) and Camille Rose Tevis (age 12), and his son Parker James Tevis (age 34) and his wife Taylor who reside in Pensacola, Florida. Jim, Stephanie and the girls went on many memorable vacations: Hawaii, Thailand, skiing in France, Mexico, Greece, Spain and many additional European countries. Jim is also survived by his six siblings: Terry Tevis, Susan Jennings and husband Steve, Sharon Myers and husband Hank, Bob Tevis, Kelly Tevis and Dan and wife Jane Tevis; nieces: Lauren Jahn and husband Jared, Natalie Mondragon and husband Jonathan; nephews: Beau Tevis and wife Ashley, Austin Jennings, Morgan Jennings, Tyler Tevis, Carl Myers, Will Tevis and Jeff Tevis, Jim's in laws live in Maussane-les-Alpilles, France: Ange and Suzy Gatti; brother-in-law Maxime and his wife Nathalie Gatti and their daughters Carla and Jade; .and Stephanie's maternal grandmother Micheline Rachet.
