James William Needham

James William Needham, 49, of Keokuk and formerly of Burlington and Danville, died on Monday, May 17, 2010 in his home. He was born on January 5, 1961 in Burlington, the son of Thomas Joseph and Martha Lorene Needham. Jim loved music, fishing, and friends. He loved to give presents and to share his talents and table with everyone. He was proud to have been a member of the Danville High School Football Team and to have learned the skills of a machinist. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Patrick Timothy. His survivors include three sisters and two brothers: Nancy Lorene Needham of Columbus, GA; Thomas Eugene Needham (Janet) of Mt Juliet, TN; Roseanne Krasuski of Ft Madison, IA; Mary Ellen Carter-Plummer (Len) of Dunedin, FL; and Thomas Michael Needham (Aleelat) of Crystal River, FL. Jim is also survived by seven nieces and nephews whom he loved very much: Megan Needham, Thomas Needham, Rion Donlan, Jessica Boyd, Matthew Carter, Annette Krasuski and J.D. Needham; and four grand nieces and nephews: Jacob Boyd, Rylie Needham, Sydney Needham, and Jacob Dylan Fay. & Patrick Catholic Church in West Burlington. The Very Rev. David Steinle will be the celebrant. Interment will be in Blakeway Cemetery, rural Danville. There will be a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 22nd, in Greaves Mortuary in Keokuk with the Rev. William Cosgrove officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the time of service.
