Charlene Glenn, 78, passed away on April 22, 2020 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Charlene was born to William and Rilla Ervin on January 18, 1942 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She married William Glenn on August 25, 1958. She was employed at Imperial Packing LLC as a Blue Plate Prentice for 20 years. Charlene was a member for Messiah Missionary Baptist Church where she received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She also worked on the finance committee and was a Sunday School Teacher.
Charlene worked with the 1960 Class of Crispus Attucks High School devoting her services to the Bereavement and Decorating Committee. She worked for the voting polls, and was also on the neighbor association committee.
Charlene was preceded in death by her parents, 6 brothers, and 1 sister.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband William Glenn, her son William S. Glenn (Margie), her daughters Janise Glenn and Michelle Glenn. Her grandchildren Nancy, Joshua, William Jr., and Alesha; 8 great-grandchildren. Sisters Ruth Ervin and Ada Ervin, and her nephew Tony. She also leaves behind a host of loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Charlene was a loving wife, sister, mother and grandmother.
