Allen L. Feuss, 68, of Oxford Junction, Iowa, died suddenly on Sunday morning, May 23, 2010, at his home in rural Oxford Junction, Iowa. A celebration of his life will be held at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, May 26, 2010, from the Carson & Son Funeral And Cremation Services in Maquoketa, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 P.M. on Tuesday, May 25, 2010, from the Carson & Son Funeral And Cremation Services in Maquoketa, Iowa. Burial will be at the Smithtown Cemetery, rural Oxford Junction, Iowa. Allen L. Feuss was born on March 9, 1942 in rural Clinton County, Iowa, to Fred A. Feuss, Sr. and Nellie Mae (Graves) Feuss. He was educated in Excelsior Country School in Clinton County and attended Lost Nation High School. He married Judy Jo Merrick on August 4, 1962 in Maquoketa, Iowa. Allen spent most of his life farming. He also did over the road trucking and had worked as a heavy equipment operator. Allen showed Saddlebred Horses in the late 1960's. He enjoyed fishing for catfish on the Wapsi River, deer and coon hunting, tractor pulling and camping.
