John Edward Rowell

On Friday morning, February 21, 2020, in Ocala, FL, John Edward Rowell, loving father of three adult children, passed away bravely and peacefully, of natural causes, at age 67, with Christ and Creator in his heart and in his mind. John was born on November 8, 1952 in Miami, FL to John Chester and Betty Lou (Owens) Rowell. John had a passion for history and all things nature. Much of Johns life was enjoyed by spending time on the ocean or with family. While John was not highly traditionally educated in his earlier years, he was an accomplished and self taught expert HVAC Engineer and provider to his family. He was known for his intense passion for American traditions, his tenacious work ethic, his spoken great admiration for his granddaddy and his mother, his iron will, his infectious smile, and his kind but sometimes prideful spirit. John also often expressed his heartfelt longing and love for 2 of his children, Sabrina and Lee. He made peace with everyone he could reach and wanted all others, that he could not reach, to know his heart is clean with love and forgiveness for all and hopes no harboring of sadness or regret for any, remains. He is survived by his resilient father John, his three children, Sabrina, Tami, and Lee, his always there brothers, William Frank Robert Bobby, his spunky spirited, loyal hearted and strong sisters Mary, Brenda, Vicki, and baby sister, Patricia Patty, his highly favored grandchildren, Dylan, Kayla, Brianna and Joseph Joe, his newly adorned great-grandson, Axton, several very loved nieces and nephews, and a lifelong best friend and extended family member, Larry.
