Thomas "Tom" Claude Walton, 82, joined his wife, Lonnie, on May 21, 2020. Tom is survived by his daughter Robin (Matt) Parker; his son, Tom (Ronda) Walton; and two brothers Vic (Marie) Walton and Ed Walton. Tom has five grandchildren, Ashley (Matt) Crooks, Kristen Parker, TJ (Emily) Walton, Chad Parker, Shay Parker; and three great-grandchildren Kaylee Crooks, Sloane Walton, and Logan Walton, as well as many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Tom was born in Petersburg, Kentucky on January 9, 1938, and lived in the surrounding area for 35 years. Tom met Lonnie Ruble at Boone County High School. Tom married the love of his life on January 24, 1959. In 1973, Tom moved his family to Scottsdale, Arizona to continue working with American Airlines. Tom worked for American Airlines for 38 years.
In his retirement, Tom worked for the Plumbing Connection for 15 years. But every free moment was spent fishing, reading about fishing, or with his family. Tom and Lonnie traveled extensively, but their favorite trips were cruising to Alaska. [more]
