Sylvia A. Robinson

Sylvia Ann Robinson was born December 11, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan to the Bernice Love and Arthur Reed. Sylvia grew up in Detroit, MI where she met her husband James Robinson. Sylvia loved the Lord and was determined to live completely for him. So determined that she refuse to follow James and relocate to San Diego, CA until she received the Holy Ghost. After receiving the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues at Solomons Temple in Detroit, MI. Sylvia relocated to sunny San Diego, CA where she became a member of Refuge Apostolic Church under the leadership of the Bishop John H. Cannon, Sr. She later transitioned to New Life Gospel Center Church under the leadership of John H. Cannon, Jr. until she transitioned home. As a member of New Life Gospel Center Sylvia displayed her loving and giving heart as a member of the Usher Board, Hospitality Department, Prayer Team, Outreach Team, and a Housekeeper in the Lords house. Sylvia loved to serve people and it showed in her many years of work as an Environmental Specialist for Kaiser Permanente. All who came into contact with her came to feel her love and care for people, She didnt mind stopping to pray or encourage people. Sylvia leaves this earth a loving wife of James A. Robinson and mother of four children James Robinson, Nina Robinson (Castleberry), Kevin Robinson, and John Robinson. She was a grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of five. A surrogate mother, sister, aunt, and a friend to many. Sylvia was preceded in death by parents Arthur Reed and Bernice Love; siblings Judy, Donald, Ricky, and Cynthia.
