DAVID M. LANE

David M. Lane, 64, of Marquette, passed away Monday afternoon, June 22, 2020 at U.P. Health System- Marquette. David was born November 5, 1955 in Munising, a son of the late Bruno and Frances (Sharron) Lane and had attended Marquette Senior High School. David was formerly employed with the union trades as a roofer. In his free time, he was an avid vegetable gardener and he loved to both rifle and bow hunt. He was also a good mechanic and was known to have a comedic side to him. David was always helpful to anyone in need especially the residents of his apartment complex. Survivors include one son, Jared Lane of Tennessee and a daughter, Shannon Olah of Mesa, AZ; a granddaughter, Aubrey; two brothers, Terry (Judy) Lane and Dennis (Cheryl) Lane; three sisters, Bonnie (Greg) Rokuski, Sharon Dale and Noreen Longuski; also surviving are many nieces and nephews and long time friend, Shanti Reese. Preceding him in death besides his parents was a brother, Ralph Lane on March 3, 2020; brother-in-law, Donald Dale; a niece, Tammy Jo Curry and nephew, Jeffery Lane.
