He did leatherworking, made longbows and arrows and had a strong interest in all aspects of Celtic cultures. Daniel was an intriguing conversationalist. His contagious enthusiasm turned many people on to his interests.From early childhood, he was involved with the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. He and his wife served as delegates to the General Assembly for several years.
