Kayla Jeanette Carder, our loving mother, daughter, sister and friend, age 33, of Morgantown, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 in Morgantown from injuries she sustained in anaccident. Born April 23, 1986 in Grafton, Kayla is a daughter of John F. Carder, Jr. and Tammy Kay Moore Carder of Morgantown. In addition to her parents, survivors include her daughter, Jada Holyfield of Morgantown; two sisters, Shebree and husband DJ Savage of Martins Ferry, OH and Khrystal Carder and companion Alexis Jones of Fairmont; nieces Kristin Savage, Cheyenne Somers, and Taelyn Jones; grandmother Patricia Moore; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Kayla was preceded in death by her grandparents Ralph F. Moore, Sr., and John F., Sr. and Matilda Carder, and an uncle, Ralph F. Moore, Jr. Kayla enjoyed spending time with her daughter. She also loved being in the outdoors such as the lake and the Boy Scout Camp in Morgantown where she grew up.
